Oyisultra.com, KENDARI – Audiens perwakilan Keluarga Besar Mahasiswa (KBM) Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Halu Oleo (UHO) dengan pimpinan DPRD Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra) berakhir ricuh dan deadlock, Jumat (26/9/2025). Forum bubar setelah Ketua DPRD Sultra, La Ode Tariala, memilih meninggalkan tempat usai terjadi aksi banting meja oleh mahasiswa.
Pertemuan tersebut awalnya berjalan normal dengan pembacaan pernyataan sikap dari perwakilan KBM FKIP UHO. Namun, suasana berubah tegang saat Ketua DPRD Sultra memberikan tanggapan.
“Jangan pukul meja, kita sama-sama di sini. Kalau begitu saya tinggalkan tempat,” ujar La Ode Tariala didampingi Wakil Ketua, Hj Hasmawati saat mengawali tanggapan.
Pernyataan itu justru memicu perwakilan mahasiswa melakukan aksi banting meja. Seketika, Ketua DPRD Sultra langsung berdiri dan meninggalkan ruang pertemuan. Forum audiens pun bubar tanpa adanya kesepakatan.
Aksi audiens tersebut digelar KBM FKIP UHO sebagai bentuk kekecewaan terhadap DPRD Sultra yang dianggap abai terhadap sejumlah persoalan, termasuk kasus penembakan dua mahasiswa UHO, Randi dan Yusuf, pada 2019 lalu.
“Pada September 2024 lalu, Ketua DPRD Sultra berjanji akan membangun monumen patung Randi dan Yusuf. Namun sampai hari ini janji itu belum ditunaikan,” kata Ketua BEM FKIP UHO dalam pernyataannya.
Selain mendesak pembangunan monumen, mahasiswa juga menuntut agar DPRD Sultra membangun gedung serbaguna atas nama Randi dan Yusuf yang bisa menjadi amal jariyah bagi almarhum.
“Jika apa yang menjadi keinginan kami tidak diatensi, maka kami dari KBM FKIP siap memberikan kejutan dalam waktu yang tidak ditentukan kepada Ketua DPRD Sultra,” tegas Ketua DPM FKIP UHO.
Hingga berita ini diturunkan, belum ada tanggapan resmi lebih lanjut dari pihak DPRD Sultra usai kericuhan tersebut.
